I took this on my way home this afternoon. The dogwood trees in this area are getting attacked by some kind of fungus or lichen, so we may not see too many in the future. This particular tree shows no signs of disease; but it sustained tremendous damage in the Halloween snowpocalypse – you’d never know it now.

These are GORGEOUS!
Coming from you Sharon, thats a compliment of the highest order! Thank you so much! and just so you know I am going to be doing a post about your boys in Kabul – its taking shape slowly but I will definitely be referencing your post and linking to it. I’m trying to connect it somehow with my post yesterday on military service. Thanks again! Donna <3
Awww Donna, you took the words right out of me because I’m just going through your photos here and was going to reply the same to your comment
Ok, I’ll be waiting for your next post! And thank you!

How’d you do that?
Color Splash photo app for iPhone. It greys out the pic, then you use your finger to scribble in color where you want it. My OCD is happy-I’m an excellent scribbler and I stay inside the lines, excellent scribbler
. I’m sure they have apps for other phones too.

I love it! I’m scribbling on all my photos lately. (OCD
